IN Salem, Massachusetts, you can buy t-shirts that say: “W.I.T.C.H. Woman In Total Control of Herself.” But according to the New York Times Styles section, this season it could also stand for: “Woman In Total Clothing Heaven.” In a report titled “Witches Lose the Warts,” they’ve notice that “witchcraft and it’s moody expressions – long weedy hair, peaked hats and pointy boots – have attained a strange cache of late.” Designers from Hedi Slimane at Saint Laurent to Gareth Pugh, Ann Demeulemeester and NYC duo Cushnie et Ochs, who riffed on the Salem witch trials in their AW13 show last month, are all feeling the Wicca vibe, they said. After all, according to Carly Cushnie; “the witch is the ultimate bad girl, you want to be her.”
And you can be her now with these goth-goes-glam pieces. Channel the Wicca vibe – broom stick optional and black cat optional, Numi x
