Just in time for the holidays, the Hanged Man brings an energy of forgiveness – the ultimate act of self-care, says Louise Androlia.

Love your monthly Tarotscopes, Louise, and am indeed in the midst (throes?) of thinkin’ on deep forgiveness. However, one slight thought I had: I think some forms of forgiveness could…might…have to do with the person you are forgiving and their actions – if that is helpful to you, the one doing the forgiver. Sometimes I’ve looked back on others actions towards me, and though they were hurtful, I can see the humanity in the them. Of course, for those who were outright cruel or manipulative, etc., then yes, the forgiveness may have nothing to do with the other. Only it’s the holding onto the anger that feels so heavy, and the letting go that frees you. But just wanted to share my thought on the former example. Cool thoughts. Thanks for all you do/say/write/think.
Hi Lauren!
Yes absolutely :) In this video I was only referencing the actual ‘act’ of forgiveness, which is always a solo action, the process of forgiveness is a personal journey, as it can only be done by you. The things that have happened in your life will of course more so than not be to do with other people, so part of the process of forgiveness is to be able to look at the situation and accept that it happened, feel all of the pain and the feelings associated with it, know that sometimes there were two people involved (forgiveness often includes self forgiveness) and sometimes you ARE definitely the victim and so on. And yes there is always humanity to see. THEN the actual act of forgiveness is a personal choice and is done privately, aka you don’t have to walk up to someone and say ‘I forgive you’.
Love and thanks for watching + reading, happy holidays! xoxo
