Anybody who follows our monthly Tarotscopes will know that Louise Androlia, aka the lovely Louniverse, is a brilliant modern mystic. But translating the tarot in a totally relatable way is by no means the end of her talents – as you can see from these beautiful prints!

Being spiritual means simply ‘honouring your spirit’. Think of your spirit like the side of a matchbox, where you strike to light. So, what is it that sparks the flame for you? For me making art and writing really honours my spirit, and I always feel better and more connected to myself after painting or creating.
Feelings are a direct link to your intuition. Feeling feelings forever! I put my feelings into my art, making it an amazing form of therapy as my work always reflects what’s going on within. This also links me straight to my inner soul system to gain answers to current challenges.
Creativity is an easy way to get in touch with your spirit guides or to channel from your highest self (or angels or ascended masters even). To tune in: Create your own prayer to clear your energy and to receive guidance and ideas from the highest source of good for your highest good. Request that your fears step aside and that you stand in your best creative self. I write the monthly Tarotscopes via channelling, which means I get out of my own way, tune in and type – there is no ‘thought’ involved, it just flows from this place that I have constant access to (and you do too!)
Being creative is a positive use of your Fire element. Negative ways that we express fire include frustration, anger and self sabotage. If you feel any of those on a regular basis then think how you could release that energy in a more beneficial and FUN way. Passion, art, music and sex are all ways to work positively with Fire.
Remember that creativity stands for whatever feels right for you. For me it is usually painting and writing, but for others it can be dancing, hiking, cooking, making music and so on. It all comes back to that idea of lighting the match of your soul, and then then making sure you tend the fire to keep those flames alive. I believe meditation is primarily about valuing your time, and equally, I see bringing a creative practice to each day as an act of self love and empowerment.
