POSTURES FOR LIFE: BUILDING A FOUNDATION TO THRIVE WITH SAHAJ KAUR

This workshop will increase your understanding of basic Kundalini Yoga postures and set a foundation for you to expand into a flourishing practice. We will cover healing from injury and postural modifications for challenging postures as well. You will leave the workshop with a better understanding of the poses used in Kundalini Yoga classes and you will learn tools to enhance your own practice in a way that supports your particular body. This workshop is suitableto beginners as well as yoga teachers. 2014.07.08_KYB-0157-2xnlsvguuebn81s8ovblds Sahaj Kaur (Shelley Loheed) a Yoga Alliance and KRI certified, level one, Teacher’s Trainer and a certified Kundalini yoga teacher. Sahaj is a loving, inspiring presence, making the powerful and healing teachings of Kundalini as taught by Yogi Bhajan accessible to students. She is trained in advanced Kundalini practices of conscious communication and mediation, and lifestyles. She offers classes in wellness, healing and yogic life. She has studied Hatha with Tias Little and Bob Cooley. She is a practitioner of both Hatha and Kundalini yoga and has studied and certified to teach Meridian yoga. As an expert in postures she brings a deep level of foundational experience and a subtle depth of knowledge to her classes. She leads workshops on creativity, mediation, breath, postures and yogic practices and she teaches in Kundalini Teacher’s Trainings in New England and New York. She works with both individuals and groups to promote health and healing. She is a fine artist as well as a yogi. She attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University. She teaches regularly at Kundalini Yoga Boston.
