Cara George, an LA-based designer and yoga teacher, and Bess Matassa, a New York-based astrologer and urban geographer, founded Mojave Rising in the 130-degree heat of Death Valley’s Badwater Basin on the fifth anniversary of their friendship. Together, they harness the energetic language of astrology through the luscious, material world to offer everything from birth chart walking tours to astrological wine tasting parties and zodiac erotica. They believe that astrology can ignite a deep trust in our truest natures so that we can celebrate every damn part of ourselves, from the sacred to the profane. OUR MANTRA // Viva Las Vegas.
